I was looking for a light netbook with a long battery life and was not very large.
Netbook Sony are lightweight and not bulky. Samsung Netbook were in the same category.

After trying both I found that —
Samsung N110 meets all my expectations.

Pro
The keyboard is right and my typing speed is as fast as they were full-size laptops. The battery seems to take nearly 9 hours. I played poker online non-stop for almost 6 hours and still was a good 3 hours + of battery.
The screen size is right. Gloss factor as discussed here, but I can live.

I almost click "Add to Cart" before you know that this device comes with Windows Vista. If Acer can send this with Windows XP, I doubt that you buy.

My office uses many mobile computing devices to communicate with remote sensing devices and downloading data. These activities are often in hostile environments. We tried to rugged laptops, such as Getac M220 and Panasonic Toughbook. They are heavy and slow. And we tried PDAs, including HP iPAQ. PDAs are not always easy to use and our older workers have difficulty reading small screens. ASUS Eee PC fits between laptops and PDAs.

I'm not a big fan of laptops, to say nothing of Netbook, but Toshiba is the weak point. This is a great autonomy, a full size keyboard makes it a real pleasure. Love it, Toshiba.
